TREBINJE 1 HYDRO POWER PLANT REHABILITATION PHASE 1 POWER 3 for Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, Bosnia and Herzegovina

All tasks of signal conditioning, binary and analogue control are executed within the ABB's Industrial IT Field Controller AC800F in redundant configuration. We have distributed the functions according to the structure of the Trebinje 1 Hydroelectric Power Plant in 5 separate stations dedicated to each of 3 units , Common Mechanical and Common Electrical part.

Each Process station ise placed in its own cubicle. Also additional cubicle is foreseen for electrical transmitters dedicated to Common electrical Process station. 5 local cabinets are foreseen for remote I/O units interfacing the penstock inlet gate and spillway gate control which are connected to Common mechanical Process station by PROFIBUS.Process operation and monitoring will be done via three operator stations located in the Central Control Room.One engineering station and one supervisory station will also be provided.

For local operation of the individual turbine Local Control Panel with LCD screen will be provided on the front side of the process station cubicle of each unit.
All 5 Process stations as well as Engineering and Supervisory station are connected to one common Optical TCP/IP Ethernet network with ring redundancy communication.
Three operator stations are connected to process LAN via OPC servers.
